Honu Beverage Company

I like tea, I love tortoises and turtles. generally creatures of the shell-backed variety. It was summer time and I had a bit of time to myself. I really wanted to practice creating a product render of some kind. I decided to go for a tropical iced tea beverage and create one from scratch to add in a bit of branding practice while I was at it.

I found the Hawaiian word for turtle which was ‘Honu’ I used that as the name of my brand – the Honu Beverage company – a beverage company started in Hawaii that uses only local production and materials and is also very environment conscious. (This is all made up of course) I created a logo icon based on the back of a turtle. I used the font Montserrat for the font.

For the Iced Tea beverage, I used a fun font namely Pacifico and line icons for the flavour indicator. The look and feel of the brand came together while I was building the product render. I played and experimented with combining colours and textures procedurally in Blender until I ended up with a soda can look I liked.
